Artist Notes:

Shelter Island is a man-made island, connected to the mainland by a strip of land. It's long and has lots of parking and park facilities. There are views of boats, a beach, Point Loma, Coronado, and downtown. It is often used as a viewing spot for yachts and sailing races. The San Diego Plein Air Painters met here to view the Schooner Cup on 4/1/2017.
